Will I be covered by Medicare?
Based on the information you provide, your GP will decide whether you are eligible through the Medicare Better Access initiative. This referral can be sent directly to me by your GP via email or via Medical Objects Software. Alternatively, you can bring it with you to your appointment.

Medicare Mental Health Treatment Plans can support you to pay for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. To access these, you will need to have your referral at the initial session and a re-referral (a review with a GP is needed for this) after your 6th session.

How much will I need to pay?

All fees are set well below the Australian Psychological Society recommended fees as a response to improving access to psychological care for all Australians. If you ever have difficulty with paying please contact me directly.

What if I miss/ forget/ cannot attend an appointment?
We understand that "life happens" to everyone and this can result in you missing an appointment. However, the hour missed means that someone else may also miss out on the help that they need. As such, a late reschedule fee may be charged if you cancel within a 24 hour period of your appointment. This policy is determined out of respect to both other possible clients and your psychologist.

If you cannot attend your scheduled appointment, please contact the clinic as early as possible.

How are payments made?
Payments are made at the end of the session.  You can pay via Eftpos or Credit Card or if someone is paying for you, we can invoice them. If you are attending by telehealth, our practice software will process all payments and you can claim the Medicare rebate. Please speak with clinic administration for further details.
